Oh my gosh! I'm one composition away from being caught up in school for the first time this semestre! It's such a freeing thought. I can't wait for summer though.
Tonight I'm going to the State Championship game that a lot of my guy friends are playing/going to win in! We're gonna have the hugest, most loud and awesome, student section ever!
I'm listening to Babel by Mumford & Sons for the first time. It is so good. I love the sound of their songs in my ears. I never intentionally learned the words to the songs on Sigh No More, just listened to it on repeat while doing math. That's probably how I learn lyrics best anyway.
While I am not in the slightest Catholic, I gave up something for Lent this year. Guess what. Yep, Temple Run 2. Isn't that awful?? That just goes to show you how addicted I am! So, no more TR2 for me for a while. People think it's funny, but it really was taking up a lot of my time.
My big sister Cadenza is coming home tomorrow! She's been nannying MKs for 6 months and I miss her like crazy. Hopefully all her international flights and stuff work out well.
And guess what! Oh mi gaaaash! *prepare for epic fangirling* SHERLOCK! It is perfect and wonderful and perfect. And Benedict Cumperfection? I mean, Cumberbatch. *sigh* And now we get more Hobbit and Star Trek, so that's good. I'm going to die, just look at him!
This is him and Martin Freeman being amazing and classy. They have great chemistry too.
This is his Everyone Be Quiet So I Can Deduce face. He's so darn irritable, but just like the stories.
This is his I Just Deduced Something So Marvelous That You Never Would've Gotten It On Your Own face.
So that's the update! Also, be warned, that was MINOR fangirling. I was literally ASDFGHJKL-ing the other day. :D

PS - And now that I've finished writing this I am officially finished with school! kthxbi

dance, drama, and derping
Y'all, I just need a nap with a billion blankets or a Disney movie...or both. Of course I'm blogging; I have so much homework to do! That's the way it goes.
Remember the surprise I said was coming? It isn't exactly working. I'll try to work on that.
I discovered this beautiful thing called a recumbent bike, that lets me read while working on getting killer legs! It is so wonderful. Speaking of legs, guess what! I've been wanting to take dance lessons for ten years, ever since I saw a clogging exhibition. I haven't been allowed to to various reasons. It cost too much, or we were too busy, or the costumes would be too immodest, or whatever else. My parents are finally signing me for ballet and tap! I know I'm a late bloomer, but I won't let the fact that I'll be in classes with little kids or adults get to me. This will be my motivation to get stronger and eat more. I'm super excited!
I also got the role I wanted in my high school play. I get to be the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical! Have you seen Horton Hears a Who? I'm the evil, purple kangaroo. And I get to belt and be sassy. So that'll be a ton of fun.
My sister is coming home from India soon! I miss her so much, but I'll have to move out of her room. It's been six months.
Spring break, come quickly! I might pull all my hair out before then, and I don't want that to happen. I just keep telling myself that I'm almost finished with my hardest year of school. It's not even as hard as last year, but last year I wasn't practically an invalid!
One of my goals was to get 50 followers on Twitter this year....and I'm already there. So that's good!
One more thing. I made a couple of derpy videos on my sister's iPod touch. They are really funny! Should I create a YouTube channel and post them? The idea is that I'm this weird reporter for The Wild World of Nature, a goofy nature show.
It feels so good to just document things. This isn't a really cute post and doesn't have pictures or anything, but it does keep y'all updated. Actually, this month I've had more views than ever before, so that's encouraging!

cool beans! I'm going to CA!
I'm back!
You were supposed to read that in a sing-song voice. Because I actually say things in a sing-song voice a lot.
hmm. Anyway.
I finished my homework for the week today! And this week is our last week at jolly olde Comm. Central. All I have left is studying for and taking finals! woohooo! Enough of that.
This chick just bought a plane ticket! To sunny
to visit my bestie with my sister! I can't wait, especially since I've been planning this with her for over two years. And because it will be my first time to fly, on a plane that is.
I bought some cute red shoes, which is always a win! I've also been added to my collections recently. Not like...what do normal people collect? Well, I've been adding to my DVD collection and book library! I bought Get Smart, The Dark Knight, and The Italian Job. As for books, I won't list all of them, because I got over ten. They did include Sophie's World, The Pilgrim's Regress, Lord of the Flies, Wuthering Hights, and Messanger. I grin-eth with much happiness!
Also, I want to thank all of you who have followed me recently and have caused my views to skyrocket, for me anyway. It has encouraged me very much!
I've been hanging out with my loverly Anna recently. We spent the night together at her house on Tuesday night and the Tuesday night befo' that. We watched Hot Rod together and I laughed really, extrememly, majorly loudly. ok, not really. But a lot. Now she and her sister and I can carry on conversations without saying anything other than quotes and inside jokes. It's a big accomplishment!
One time we slept in their hammock, and one time we were going to sleep on the second floor porch, but workers were coming the next morning, so we prudently decided against that. We also did one of the things on my Bucket List. I know, I still haven't written it out and posted it yet.
Yay! We watched the stars, and karma got Anna. Her cat jumped on me and scared me while in the hammock, and then the next time, Boogers, the cat, scared her! Mwahahaha! Not that I believe in karma anyway.
We pause for a moment to bring you, some toasted marshmallow flavored "cool beans".
Buh Bye! Cool beans.

[cool post title]
I can't decide whether or not there are enough hours in the day. Most likely, I just don't use time very wisely, as evidenced by the fact that I haven't posted a real post in forever. Anyway, I'm pretty well kept busy with homework, rehearsals, and work. I'm so sick of Comm. that I've worked my tail end off trying to get everything done with time to spare. In face, I'm about to head to the library to finish up this week's work.
I just finished reading A Tale of Two Cities, and liked it very much. That is, I liked how it ended, but not how long it took to get there! I'm also reading The Pilgrim's Regress by C. S. Lewis, which is good, but I'm afraid that 1/4 of it is going over my head, and 1984 by Orwell, which I also am greatly enjoying. That and The Giver both go to show you that Dystopian is not a new genre.
Why is it that I wake up ready to tackle the day on those days, few and far between, when I have absolutely no homework? My internal clock is in the Lazy Time Zone...
I took the Fandom Quiz! The first one represents the results from the 20 question quiz. The second is the other! I don't know all of these fandoms, so those don't really mean anything to me, but I'm generally happy with it! If you know me IRL, which one do you think best describes me?
The ones that really matter to me are Hunger Games, LOTR, Star Wars, Narnia, and Star Trek! Notice how much evil-er I am in the first one!
I seem to have run out of inspiration. My posts are few and far between, and they are all very similar. I don't write this blog just for you my readers, but I do want to keep y'all happy! What do you want me to discuss/review/talk about/bring up? Lemme know and I'll get around to it! Promise!
-billyBobjoe the... I was about to list all of those things and races, but decided against it because, well, because you can just read them up there!

day of jumping
Sorry it's been so long! Well, it's (was) leap day, hence the stupid post title, and I still haven't done anything spectacular. Yesterday is a different story. Yesterday I started a new job, babysitting each week, at 8 in the morning. Had to go to rehearsal at 1 'til 4 after that. Don't get me wrong, it was a great day, but I did come home with sore muscles!
Have you danced for three hours straight? It's a little tough. We had learned the choreography for two songs, but nobody really understood it. They needed polishing, and everyone needed a pep talk, which one of the girls, the one that plays Kim, gave willingly! She should be a football coach.
Anyway, I'm super excited about Bye Bye Birdie! To all IRL friends: You better come see me and scream for me when I take my bows!
I think I have senior-itis. Schools not too hard anymore, but takes forever! The weather is so nice that I don't wanna be anywhere but outside. I'm finally being accepted at Comm. Central and rehearsals. Maybe all of this seems disjointed, but I promise that it's all related! See? The weather's so nice that I don't wanna do school, and school's easier, which lets me focus on friendships and stuff. Whatever.
I watched the new Pride and Prejudice again! I watched it before I read the book, with a girl who didn't like it and pointed out its flaws. I read the book, then watched the 1995 version, with Colin Firth, and loved it! In my mind, that was the only real P&P. But the two are so different. I recently watched the 2005 version again, with a mind to like it, and enjoyed it very much. The whole film is just beautiful; I guess it's the cinematography. I still don't think that Keira Knightley can do Elizabeth justice, but I sure don't mind Matthew Macfadyen! I believe that I will always prefer the old one, because of its extra length and ability, for that reason, to delve deeper into the book, but might be watching the new one more frequently when I don't have 5 (or however many) hours.
So excited! I already have my ticket to the midnight showing!

snow day?
There was much anxiety about the impending ice and blizzard.
Do we have milk and eggs? everyone wondered. (Sarcasm. It rarely snows even in inch here, so when it does, there is much...preparation!)
I woke up this morning at 6:45 and immediately looked out the window. Snow falling. That was a good sign! I crawled back in bed, determined not to go to sleep until The Email was sent declaring the fate of all the students of Comm. Central. I finally got up, worried that I would be disappointed and not have a lunch made in time.
My mother came in and announced the Snow Day! I smiled cheerily, if a bit sleepily, and got back in bed. I slept 'til 8:30, something that I had not done on a Monday the whole school year.
I put on a abnormally cute outfit, which consisted of grey jeans, a red shirt, one of my dad's huge blue sweaters, and a pretty necklace. It was what I was going to wear to Comm, but I wouldn't have been able to stand not wearing it after so much thought had gone into it! Yes, I am strange, and go through little clothing phases like everyone else.
I even studied today. Aren't you proud of me? It felt like I was being handed 24 hours on a silver plate. I never get anything done on Mondays because classes don't count.
I sat around. I lounged around. I drank tea by the fire. I wore two pairs of socks. I read 3/4th of Many Waters by: Madeline L'Engle and finished it.
The clouds got exausted after an inch and stopped. Stopped snowing, that is. They rained and sleeted and drizzled for a while longer. None of the snow stuck, but I wasn't planning on going outside anyway.
That's how snow days go in the South.

bBj's Words o' Wisdom
Think for a minute. You know that thing that you been wanting to do for a long time, like driving one of those old-lady-car-baskets in Walmart? Maybe it's a bucket list type thing, or maybe it's small. I did one of those on Monday! All of which reminds me: write out bucket list and post it! Where was I? Ah yes...
So, I was being driven home from Comm. Central. Madre was driving, and we had two of my friends and one of their little sisters in the backseat.
We were at a stop light with about six cars in front of us. A lot of construction was going on in the area.
Directly to our right were ten or so workers and a couple of supervisors digging a hole. I have no idea what for, because I know nothing about construction, but it was a big hole. I don't know, about ten feet deep?
Madre reminded me of the thing that I had been wanting to do for so long, and I tried to get the girls to do with me, but they chickened out.
I rolled the windows down and yelled "CAREFUL MISTER, THERE'S A HOLE THERE!!!" to the workers who were, in fact, digging the hole. I flashed the supervisor a thumbs-up, and when we drove off, they were still laughing!
Weird? Yes. Hilarious? Yes. *chuckles to self*
Would you do that? Let me know if you do!

teenagers = drama
Now, I know that all of y'all have dealt with this in the past, but I had to deal with a stinkin' TON of it yesterday.
Mostly, I like my homeschool co-op Comm. Central, but yesterday was awful! A bunch of people were there, which made it louder. Three girls who are normally in the class weren't there last week, which gave me delusions of quiet-ness. And one of the girls knows the new girl from a previous school or something, which means that they can be loud together. Are you catching the sarcasm and annoyance? Good! They're like two strong winds that, when together, form a big, annoying tornado! Yeah, it's bad.
Anyway, I know this is kinda angsty, but what is a blog for if not to express yourself? I'll get over it, because I honestly do like going. *sigh* OK, I feel better!

Coziness
Yesterday morning just had that... cozy feeling! It was raining outside and I just noticed that my favorite tree in the backyard is partially yellow and brown! There was a buttery rum candle burning in the kitchen.
It was chilly outside.
It was quiet downstairs and I had a space heater going in my bedroom, even though it wasn't super cold.
I was also wearing huge red house shoes that look like pigs. Still am, to be perfectly honest! My friend from Comm. Central, which is my homeschool co-op, if I haven't told you, let me borrow them this week! I've already been to the grocery store, Chick-Fil-A, and the library in them.
Why that makes me cozy I really don't know!
School's going well right now and I just got elected as High School Student Council President! Yeah, I know, it's got a lot of capital letters! w00t!
We get to pick the topic for our next essay because Gulliver's Travels is too weird! o_0 Have you read it? That makes me happy because I can now somehow write about The Power of Six...
...which I just finished a few minutes ago! And I got it from the library Monday night! I'm gonna post a review on I Am Number Four and hopefully one on the movie, as soon as I see it. Then this ^ there!
It's Christmas time! Oh yes it is! Don't even try to argue. Don't dare. There is garland strewn about the Living Room and the Tree base is set up. Notice the awe in which that was typed. *wink*
I wish I could communicate the joy that Christmas and everything relating to it brings me. I'll try some time! I've been excited about Christmas for a couple months now and as soon as I get some money I will be going shopping! I also need to ascertain whether my best friend is coming to town.
I'm making friends with people at Comm. Central and by this point you probably all think I'm this hopeless girl who doesn't have any friends and gets excited about everything. That's definitely not the truth! It just feels better to let it all out when you're happy than when you're in the dumps. Just wait for the horrible post when I am. You will regret reading it! *laughs*
Unfortunately, my dear little baby computer, who is a mini, is going through one of those phases. You know how children are? He just won't cooperate and takes so long to do things! Anyway, it's a love/hate relationship. The purpose of this little spiel was just to tell y'all that it takes a long time to post and do stuffs online, so don't forget about me! I'll be around. And I'm having trouble commenting on blogs, but that's my problem!
'Nough for now...
Formorrow,
~bbj
