Part 3 consists of "girlie" movies. Two of (500) Days of Summer, which I have not see, but want to, because it has Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and two Audrey Hepburn movies. Roman Holiday is the only one of these that I have seen. The color scheme is amazing and unintentional. Almost everything in 500DoS is blue, in order to highlight Zooey Deschanel's eyes, the director said.
*sigh* So darn cute.

crayons and sharpies
Here's what has been going down in my life! I've been doing geometry. That isn't very fun, but I didn't start on time, so I have to do it through the summer. I hate to be typical, but proofs are annoying.
I also dug a coloring book out of my closet and have been crayoning! It's so relaxing and fun!
Also, I've been drawing in my journal. I have a nice sketchbook, but I feel like those drawings have to be perfect. Either inspired by a picture in my head or an Owl City song, mostly. I had probably just come home from the BBB cast party when I did the All-American one!

Every time I go outside, I stand on the mailbox. Why? Let me think about it. Uh, because it's fun? Yeah, pretty much.
I'm kind of broke. And I will be after I order my yearbook. I have to get a job, which is on my list of short-term goals. Yes, I have physical lists of short-term goals. It makes me all the more rewarded when I obtain them. I think I will work at Chick-Fil-A this summer after my birthday.
I'm a caveman. Yep. My iPod is dying/dead/won't work and my computer is mega slow. I think I'm going to buy a Kindle Fire. Thoughts?
I've recently done three things on my bucket list: draw all over my shoes, finish a shampoo bottle and conditioner bottle in the same shower, and perform Bye Bye Birdie!

I drew the BBB icon, and my friends in the cast signed them! I wear them all the time. Ironic, because I don't like the shoes themselves at all.
So, yeah! The pictures of mine are MINE, so don't steal! Okay, thanks!

A yummy looking award...
I have been awarded The Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award! Haha, I must have all of you fooled!
Just kidding, I'm a relatively sweet person in person. What?
I have to list 7 random things about me, then give it to other peeps, so here goes.
1. I like carousel horses.
2. I own a baseball that might have been a homerun in a Cardinal's game.
3. I have a large hope chest. Actually, the chest that it is in right now is not very big at all; it only fits a part of all the things that will be in my future home!
4. I have OCD
Not that OCD is a real, physical ailment, but I do have whatever it is that makes me want to organize everything and have everything around me perfectly straight!
5. I love milk and drink it ALL the time. Santa would be proud. Wait, doesn't Santa like milk?
6. I have a pink, stuffed pig.
Yep, that's Peter the Pink Pig. I just call him Pete. I've had this little dude for forever! He's goes on all my adventures with me! And vacations. That picture below was actually the very first picture that I took with my camera. That's random.
7. I own many vintage Disney posters, a vintage Candy Land game box cover, and a black light bulb from the 70s that was my daddy's!
Now then, you didn't know any of those did you?

Bye Bye Birdie
I know I have mentioned it, but in case you didn't know, I am taking part in a production of Bye Bye Birdie. It is with our homeschool group Cast N Crew, and I have done one play with them in the past. We did Annie the musical last sping, and I am proud to say that two of my sisters got large roles, and I got a bit part. Don't feel sorry for me, I didn't want a singing role.
Now, I can sing, but I was afraid that I would be scared to sing in front of people when the time came.
That was not the case at all. I realized that after the four months of rehearsing, I knew the songs, choreography, and lines backward and forward, so why be scared? The director kept telling everyone to smile and put a lot of energy into the songs, but she never had to tell me! I was absolutely beaming the whole time I was onstage. I couldn't figure out why everyone else was not, I mean, I was having the time of my life! Why in the world are they doing drama if they aren't having fun onstage? Golly. Also, you know all the people that you are performing with, and have spent a lot of time with them by that point. Everyone sees you mess up during rehearsals, so you get that out of your system.
So, I decided that I wanted a singing part in Bye Bye Birdie, which is a play set in the 1950s, one of my favorites time periods, about a rock star. It is a satire on teenage idolization of rock stars, like Elvis. Conrad Birdie, the rock star, is based loosely off of Elvis, and more so off of Conway Twitty, who was one of Elvis' biggest rivals in the early days of their carreers. Elvis was drafted to go into the army, and this play is about Conrad giving one last kiss goodbye to one of his biggest fans before he leaves. It's a publicity stunt that his manager, Albert, who is really the star of the show, comes up with.
The play is hilarious! I find most of the songs very sarcastic, which is fun to do, mostly because we can't act in a sarcastic way, but have to show the audience hwo wrong everything is. For example, one of Conrad Birdie's biggest numbers is called Honestly Sincere, which is grossly funny because he is totally fake!
After much description... I got the part of Debra Sue, who is one of Kim's best friends. Kim is the girl that is chosen to receive Birdie's last kiss. As I see parts of the script, I now know that I am in more scenes that I realized at first, which is pretty cool. We have only had two weeks of rehearsals, which means about four so far.
I'm having a lot of fun, and getting to know new people! Updates will be coming.
By the way, don't watch the movie! It is absolutely nothing like the play at all! Listen/watch parts on YouTube, and you'll see why I can't help but smile!

chutes and ladders and summers
So, yes I was reading a book instead of doing history the other day. Ride the slide back down to square number four.
And, yes I was listening to Michael Buble while doing logic homework. Wait, that good! Go up to square number ninety-seven. Yes, go up that far!
All this to say that I'm back in school and liking MB a lot! In other news:
I met two girls who are twins and really cool the other day, so I've been texting them to get to know them! I have a lot in common with both of them and hope they join our church!
So, you see? The world is out to get me, and get me not to do my homework! Dastardly plan, no? Oh wait, now I'm writing a post....never mind, I need to!
Does that happen to you? Of course it does! Now I feel better!
I really want summer to come! I'm sick of winter already. I'm glad that I didn't have to live in Narnia when the White Witch was ruling, because "all winter and no Christmas" would have sucked. People are made to desire change, especially for the different seasons, but I have it BAD! (I intentionally used an adverb and left off the -ly!) Spring is the best time of year, followed closely by summer, and I can't wait.
We moved a year ago, and our new house has this great tree in the front that I read under ALL THE TIME in summer. Actually, I read, write, and think under it, but only when the creeper neighbors aren't out. o_0 Literally, in summer, I am outside more than inside. The Great Outdoors becomes my home, and I walk out the front door and onto the lawn like I was walking out of my room and into the hall.
I don't have any big plans, but that's the joy of summer, no? I just want to watch the few clouds on my back with my aviators on. *sigh* Classic.
I hope I didn't make you too discontented! If you go do the homework that you are avoiding, I'll do mine. Deal? Okay, fine.

a trip around the Christmas tree
'Twas the (new year, and I never got my pictures posted about the) night before Christmas, and all through the house...
My Christmas was very good! I'm not going to try to tell everything I received, but I will say that I did get headphones, a lava lamp, a flash drive, which I returned because I found that which was lost on Christmas day, Star Wars OT in BluRay, some tshirts, and a necklace. What did you get?
Merry New Year.

Here are a bunch or ornaments from our tree.
This is the type of mushroom that I like!
I love this one! So cute!
My mom's tree has a lot of diversity. Us kids usually have our own tree to put our ornaments on, so my mom's is a "thing of beauty," and not to be touched, but a few things have changed as we have gotten older!
I think this car is very cute.
My mom loves the beach, and got this in St. George's Island when we went a while back.
This one is for my dad, who used to play saxophone. I say "used to", but I want him to start again! He was good too!
I just think this crown is pretty.
I am a Coca-Cola fan! Vintage is good, but vintage Coke is even better! This little vending machine is so cute!
I just bought a pink, polar bear, Coke t-shirt, too!
Someday I want this ornament.
This will make my older sister unbearably happy, that I posted a picture of her marvelously wrapped present! Isn't is cute? Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. *sad*
Get it? It's Christmas... in a nutshell! The outside looks like a walnut. It makes me excited! I will never forget my amazement when I understood this.

Mission's and Reading
Now the reason why I'm posting early is that I'm leaving on a Mission's Trip on Monday and obviously won't have access to my lovely computer! I say leaving, and that probably gives you images of helping to share the Gospel in Africa or some other glamorous place, but in reality, which is where we live, it's a local outreach. My church is having a evangelism conference with opportunities to live out what we've just learned in the city. Anyway, I will be helping with Backyard Bible Clubs, a "downtown" ministry, and the Boys and Girl's Club. I am also super extremely excited!! Don't we Christians get so hung up with the specific "ministries" of our own personal Church and forget all about actually telling people the Good News of how a holy God came to a fallen world to save his creations and give them eternal Life? Yes, we do. How could we not be horribly pained to see so many dead people around us? That's how we should think of it. We walk around and interact with spiritual zombies all the time. God, help us to see humans the way you do! To tell the truth, which is not to say that all that was a lie, but, to tell the truth like I was just now, today it my Spiritual Birthday! Nine years ago today God brought me to my knees with the realization that I'm a sinner. Thank you LORD!
On a much lighter note: I like to read. A lot! Have you read this?

It's so wonderful! Especially if you like dystopian! Anyway, I don't read like most teenage girls, as you can tell, who only read romantic fiction, *coughcoughTwilightcough* and that not very often! Don't you just feel sad for those people? No, I practically devour books, and read way too many at once! (I correctly distinguished between "to" and "too"! I most always do, but most ordinary *say it with a sneer* people don't.) Anyway, I even read from all genres. I've read more classics than most kids my age and older. The only thing is, I can't get enough! I want to read more and more! More classics, more modern books, more mysteries, etc. My reasoning is that I want more than anything, well, more that most anything, to be a well-rounded person. One with all sorts of ideas and opinions on all subjects! Someone you can talk to about anything. Maybe it's going backwards to post this and maybe this makes me sound like a stuck-up, nerdy, perfectionist, who only likes to study. Well, I'll have you know that is not the case at all! Nerdy, yes! Someone who likes to study, yes, but definitely a "people person"! I don't know any strangers! I like to hope I'm not too (look, I did it again!) "BLAH-in-your-face-I-don't-know-you-so-I'll-introduce-myself!!!" The more I think about it, the more I realize how true that is! Oh well, feel free to disagree!
Oh, and I've just realized that for some reason, actually, for no reason, my blog isn't showing when I hit the "enter" button. As in, all this will run together and be really difficult to read! Oh well. I sure hope it doesn't!
Also, most successful bloggers say to have a theme for your blog. Not, of course, that I only care about getting followers! Believe me, I blog for myself, but would like to have my opinions heard! Anywho, I don't have a subject short of “here's a subject and here's what I think about it!” So tell me what you think about different things I try and what you'd like to hear more on! I'd sure love that. Also, I hope this Waltz isn't too girly. I mean, I would like guys to read it too! Guys, feel free to read and follow, I won't only talk about girly things!
Is this not the most conclusive chart for all people who watch movies ever? I'm definitely the attentive one. And it's right, don't watch Inception (best movie ever) with Easily Confused People!
One last thing to think on, actually, to look at! So cute and vintage!
There, that wasn't too girly of a post was it?
